African leaders face challenges from numerous fronts: how to harness economic growth, stimulate job creation, increase political stability, and handle the transition to democratic systems.

How will they navigate change on the most rapidly-changing continent in the world? And how can they generate economic growth and the increasing urbanization of their countries while managing carbon emissions and building sustainable, environmentally conscious development to improve their nations for the next generation? These were the questions his excellency Ali Bongo Ondimba, President, Gabonese Republic, his excellency Alassane Ouattara, President, Ivory Coast and his excellency Faure Gnassingbe, President, Togo based their speeches on.

“We need to diversify, find other sources of energy apart from oil, oil is failing” he said.

Naglaa El Ehwany, Minister of International Cooperation, on behalf of his Excellency Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President, Egypt stated that Africa was the strong hold of the world.

“When Africa suffered Epidemic terrorism, the world felt it” she said.
