Three Fulani herdsmen are in the grips of the Brong Ahafo regional police for alleged armed robbery.

The three suspects were arrested near Kintampo.

The police retrieved a gun, one knife and an amount of Ghc950 from the suspects.

They have been remanded into police custody to reappear before court in two weeks.

Brong Ahafo regional Police PRO ASP Christopher Tawiah told Starr News the suspects have been disturbing residents of the area for many years.

“The three were arrested in a taxi where they posed as passengers. When the police had a tip-off and accosted the taxi, they attempted to runaway but they were arrested by the Police. We found guns and a knife on them,” he narrated.
