Reports from the United States of America reveal that at least eight people were killed on Saturday night, December 26, 2015 after tornadoes tore through areas near Dallas.

It was further reported that the tornadoes left a path of destruction in their wake with multiple homes and other buildings destroyed in several towns after at least one tornado touched down.

While five people were reportedly killed in Garland, three were left dead in Collin County after the tornadoes touch down the town while others were left injured.

In a report by BuzzFeed, Garland Lt. Pedro Barineau said that five people were killed in his city during the storms. Barineau also said the people appeared to have been on the road when they were killed, but he did not know if a tornado touched down in their location or if the storm caused a fatal car accident.
