The death toll from a plane crash which occurred in Taiwan on Wednesday, February 4, has now risen to 38.
38 confirmed dead in TransAsia plane crash
The TransAsia airlines plane had been carrying 58 people to the Kinmen islands when it crashed into the Keelung River.

Fifteen people survived the crash while five of the passengers are still missing.
Experts say that the ATR 72-600 aircraft crashed after both of its turboprop engines failed but that it is still too early to determine what caused the engine failure.
