Two kids burnt to death in tanker explosion

Two children have been burnt to death in a fire.

 

Two children were burnt to death in a fire that engulfed a fuel station at Agric Kokode in the Ashanti Region.

The fire started when a fuel tanker discharged unto the ground after one of its valves got broken.

This led to the start of the fire which quickly spread to adjoining wooden structures among which was the one in which the children were sleeping.

The charred bodies of the children were discovered after the fire which consumed the wooden structures and destroyed properties amounting thousands of Ghana cedis.

Relatives of the children said the kids were asleep when the fire engulfed the wooden structure.

Four vehicles and several stores were also destroyed by the blaze.

Many other people reportedly sustained severe degrees of injuries.
