5 Reasons why Democrat is next President of United States

Donald J. Trump will be remembered for a most divisive election campaign, but he won't get into the White House

U.S. presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump speak at campaign rallies

Several weeks of campaigning and trading of insults between Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald J. Trump all boils down to Tuesday night.

One of these candidates will emerge the next President of the United States.

To save you the trouble of a guessing game, here's why President Barack Obama’s successor won’t be the New York Businessman.

1. The Polls have called this for Hillary:

Hillary Clinton was the winner on the score-cards of most pollsters before FBI Director James Comey was invited to poop the party.

Clinton’s numbers on the polls took a beating soon after Comey said the FBI will be taking a second look at her deleted Emails.

But as soon as the misled Comey announced that the FBI had found no new evidence in those Emails to nail Clinton, she was back to beating Trump silly again--from Nevada to Pennsylvania and Florida.

A new Reuters/Ipsos poll a day before the election noted that Clinton now stands a 90 percent chance of winning the electoral college and popular votes.

Goodbye Trump, it was nice watching you entertain us all, but it's now officially over.

2. America was never going to elect a lunatic as President

The land of the free could be accused of handing the world two flawed candidates, but no way was it going to hand the keys to the Oval office over to a looney whose comments have become a danger to the planet.

1600 Pennyslvania Avenue has never been an address for loose canons.

Trump is a raving lunatic and America won’t let him get any closer to the White House than he already has.

Voters are sophisticated enough to hand Trump a bloody nose tonight.

And they will.

3. Trump campaign implodes

According to the New York Times (NYT), the Donald Trump Campaign has finally imploded.

That was long in coming.

With the candidate staring defeat in the face, Trump’s smart-phone was seized by his Campaign to prevent him from having access to social media site, Twitter.

Behind the scenes, Trump advisers also know that the game is up, but the candidate has insisted they flood him with optimistic views and optimistic views only; even in the face of his dwindling presidential prospects.

According to NYT: “Many Republicans decided that Mr. Trump’s already shaky campaign was over. Some despondent young staff members at the who usually work late into the night in the final stretches of a campaign, took to leaving their desks early, in time for happy hour at bars. They complained that Mr. Trump had not just lost the election but was dragging down House and Senate candidates, dooming the entire party”.

The Campaign’s attempt to make Trump stay on message at rallies, have also failed.

Writes the NYT: “In the final days of the presidential campaign, Mr. Trump’s candidacy is a jarring split screen: the choreographed show of calm and confidence orchestrated by his staff, and the neediness and vulnerability of a once-boastful candidate now uncertain of victory”.

4. Electoral College votes are a thing

The TV networks have updated their Electoral College map every other day since mid-year.

Clinton’s pathway to locking the magic 270 Electoral College votes looks increasingly assured.

Trump and his aides know this.

Here’s a prediction: Clinton will win the popular and Electoral College votes by a mile.

The race will be over for Trump before dawn in Nigeria.

5. Swing States are key States

Clinton has all but locked up key Swing and Battleground States at the time of writing this.

Latest polling figures say Clinton is on her way to nailing 303 Electoral College votes to Trump’s 235.

Trump is running Clinton close in Florida, Pennsylvania and Ohio, but the former Secretary of State should win those by the close of voting on Tuesday.

Should Trump lose in any two of Florida, Michigan and Pennsylvania, he should immediately call Clinton to concede.

If Clinton wins Florida with its 29 Electoral College votes, she’ll just need to win one of Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania to emerge victorious.

The polling data suggests she’s on track to achieving that feat.

Early numbers from North Carolina also suggest Clinton will take that State too.

Hispanics and Blacks will turn out for Clinton in their numbers.

She's got this whole thing wrapped up.

Postscript:

Here’s a little prediction from the crystal ball: Hillary Clinton has this in the bag.

There’s no way in hell a self-confessed racist, scam artist and tax dodger like Trump was ever going to be elected President of the free world.

Trump's campaign has just been too divisive and vitriolic for 2016.
