Three Nigerians suspected to be behind the forging of fake documents such as drivers’ licences, voters’ identification cards, bank statements and police criminal clearance forms.

On June 26, the Accra Regional Police Command had a tip-off that a gang of young men were defrauding some individuals at Dome, a suburb of Accra.

Acting upon the tip-off, the police dispatched a team of officers and managed to arrest three of the suspects operating with a laptop computer.

They were arrested with forged documents of the Police and Immigration Services, the DVLA, Electoral Commission, Civil Aviation Authority and Barclays Bank.
