The Cameroonian military has said that 30 suspected insurgents were killed by its troops
According to reports, soldiers from Cameroon have killed 30 people suspected to be Boko Haram militants.
The insurgents were said to have belonged to a group which attacked the Nigerian troops who fled into the neighbouring country.
The Cameroonian troops reportedly prevented two attempts made by the militants to enter into the country through the border with Nigeria.
The neighbouring country’s army also seized some sophisticated weapons from the militants and destroyed one of their vehicles.
480 Nigerian soldiers were said to have escaped from Boko Haram into Cameroon where they took refuge in schools.
