Following an increase in the rate of police brutality, especially in areas dominated by African-Americans, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) has developed and launched an innovative reporting app.
The developers say this app was created to help Americans protect their rights in any case of police brutality, and also to keep law enforcement agents in check.
An essential tool in the app is the list of US rights that users can memorise and invoke in any tight situation with power hungry law enforcement agents.
The developers say the app is free and it allows users record and send a video of any form of police brutality or unlawful treatment, by police officers, to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) servers.
The app is available on the Apple and Android app stores.
