Traffic has been getting worse lately in Lagos state.
Socio-political group set to control traffic with new scheme
In light of the terrible traffic in Lagos state, a socio-political group has launched an initiative.
Unfortunately, the government has not provided an immediate solution.
So, a socio-political organisation has launched an initiative tagged “Lagos State Traffic Control Volunteers”.
At the launch two days, at the Lagos Secretariat, Alausa Ikeja, the coordinator of the group, Mr. Seyi Bamigbade, spoke on the goal of the scheme.
As the name suggests, the organisation is recruiting volunteers from all the 57 local governments and local council development areas in Lagos state.
These volunteers will collaborate with government agencies in order to help control traffics in their areas.
