With visits to its native app on a steady decline, Wikipedia has devoted itself to reinventing its mobile app.

Wikipedia founder, Jimmy Wales.

Wikipedia is not relenting on its mobile app and has been steadily rolling out updates to further improve its users' mobile experience.

The online encyclopedia unveiled a brand new iOS app which is focused on improvements to the visual design, better search, and additional features that allow you share facts and images with friends on social networks, including Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and elsewhere.

The new app has also been improved to make accessing its content easier and much easier than before, considering the mobile users' limited time and the size of their mobile phone screens. The app also sports a cleaner, more efficient design with a short descriptor of the topic at the top of the screen that makes it possible to get answers within seconds.

The apps search functionality has also been given a huge boost with a higher contrast search bar and support to show your recent searches.
