UberFacts is a Twitter account that is run by a person who claims to tweet certified facts on different topics.

Yesterday, January 25, 2015, the administrator of the Twitter handle with over 9 million followers, posted a tweet that claims to be a fact about Nigeria. The tweet read: "In Nigeria, some people believe that children who eat eggs turn into thieves."

This tweet hit Nigerian Twitter users the wrong way, and many of them took to the microblogging site to slam UberFacts, insisting that the 'fact' is absolutely false.
