Tunde Kara, Sisi Yemmie, others discuss "How Digital Video Is Changing Us"

Pulse held its second and final event at Social Media Week Lagos yesterday tagged "How Live Video Is Changing Us". The session was focused on digital video and how it is fast becoming the future of digital media.

The session kicked off with a presentation from Aniekan Etuhube, Managing Director of Pulse TV, in which he highlighted the rapid growth which digital video has undergone in the Nigerian media space within the last two years.

In his presentation, Tunde Kara, Head of Sales at Pulse Nigeria, spoke about how Pulse has been able to successfully monetize its video content and the different advantages which advertisers and brands stand to gain.

Sisi Yemmie, the third member of the panel and Founder of SisiYemmie.com, apoke about her transition from blogging to vlogging and how she has been able to connected her digital videos to consumers of her content.

Princess Abumere, Deputy Editor-In-Chief at Pulse.ng, moderated the panel during the session and directed questions from the audience to the panelists for clarification.

The session ended with an interactive Q and A session that had questions from Leo Stiegeler, General Manager of Ringier Africa, amongst others.

The event took place at the SMW Studio, Landmark Events Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos - venue of the 2017 Social Media Week Lagos.
