Magic Johnson comes on board

Magic has been a strong advocate for the rights of those living with HIV/AIDS since he was diagnosed of the disease since 1991.

Square brings Magic Johnson on board.

National Basketball Association(NBA) Hall of Famer, Philanthropist and Entrepreneur- Earvin Magic Johnson is now a member of Square’s board.

Square- a financial services, merchant services aggregator and mobile payments company based in San Francisco, California, says they are happy to have him on board.

Magic Johnson, as he is popularly known, is one of the successful businessmen in America. He runs a charity- Magic Johnson Foundation and Magic Johnson Enterprises, a multi-million dollar enterprise.

According to Square founder and current CEO of Twitter,Jack Dorsey,“I have the deepest admiration for Earvin as a tireless champion for creating economic opportunity in underserved communities. As a successful entrepreneur and advocate for economic inclusion, Earvin’s unique perspective will be invaluable to our community of sellers and our board. We are honoured to have him.”
