My friends and I were hanging out at the beach because, we all deserve a break from this stressful Lagos life, right?
Take even better, full length ones
It's 2016, there's really no reason for you to bother strangers to take photos of you when you can take full length pictures of yourself by yourself and for yourself.
It was also some sort of reunion because we hadn’t seen each other in a while. So there we were, eating barbecued chicken and sipping chilled drinks. Life was good.
Then came the narcissism, we started taking pictures, selfies mostly, to record what a nice time we were having. And of course to show off our lovely faces and even lovelier day on Instagram. Then someone had the brilliant idea that we should take a group photo. ‘
Sure, why not. The only problem was that no one wanted to take the photo as that would mean being left out of the picture itself.
So I decided to ask someone to help us out. I walked over to this good looking guy and politely asked if he could take a photo of me and my friends.
He just looked at me like I was an annoying fly buzzing around and faced his drink. I had never been more embarrassed.
Burning with fury and embarrassment, I went to Dealdey’s website and ordered a selfie stick right away. It cost less than two thousand naira.
If I had done it earlier I would have saved myself the embarrassment, you can avoid such a situation too, click here to find more amazing deals.
