In the process of inviting developers to a contest to create a face for its upcoming smartwatch, Motorola released a document in which the grand prize was Moto 360 with the price as spotted by Android Central: A Moto 360 smartwatch valued at $249.
Now that we have an idea of what the price is, we know this would put it in range with the Pebble Steel while still keeping it a little cheaper than Samsung's Gear 2 ($299).
However, Motorola could always change the price before it releases the Moto 360 in the coming months, but it still will range close to the originally disclosed amount.
The Moto 360 is one of the first smartwatches that will run Google's new software for wearable tech called Android Wear. This watch differs from other smartwatches with its round watch face, which makes it look more like a true wristwatch rather than a shrunken smartphone on a wristband.
We know the price, but we'll have to wait until it launches to really gauge what it can do.
