Presidents are basically quantifiable beings, measured and judged by a large set of numbers. Approval/disapproval ratings, unemployment rate, inflation rate, amount of power generated, and so on.
Obama ignores Apple Watch, goes for Fitbit Surge
Apparently, the Apple Watch is not smartwatch of choice for the US president.
Some other numbers are heart rate, steps taken, amount of sleep. Acording to theverge, The Wall Street Journal's latest interview with President Obama revealed that the US President uses a Fitbit Surge smartwatch.
Business Insider further reports that Obama has actually been sporting the watch for over a month now, at least since March 17.
One thing is for sure: if Obama is wearing a Fitbit Surge, then that means he didn’t get a gold Apple Watch. Or any Apple watch for that matter. Or a Moto 360. Or a Google Wear watch. Or a Microsoft band.
