HMD Global, the company that now makes Nokia phones and is responsible for the rebirth of the legendary Nokia 3310, has announced a new, Android-based smartphone, the Nokia 3, which is now available in Nigeria.

The Nokia 3 has a precision machined aluminium frame forged out of a single piece of aluminium, laminated 5-inch display with sculpted Corning® Gorilla® Glass and integrated 8MP wide-aperture cameras (front and back).

It also has a laminated IPS display and will be available in three distinct colours — Silver White, Matte Black, and Tempered Blue.

“Premium is an experience, not a price point. We’ve been extremely thoughtful about the overall performance of the Nokia 3, to ensure that a premium high quality experience is fully accessible for everyone,” says Joseph Umunakwe, General Manager, HMD Global, West, East and Central Africa. “We’ve thought hard about how the phone will be used, and then crafted a beautiful device to make sure it looks as good as it performs.”
