If I told you that I have a cable that can work as both a lightning cable (the type that people with Apple devices are always complaining about) and a microUSB cable (the type that Android phone users always seem to have half a dozen of), you'd probably say something like, "No dey bobo me abeg", right?
Well, if this Kickstarter project is anything to go by, that is exactly what the LMCable can do.
According to a TechCrunch report, the cable has a special end that works in both ports. One side of the 'male' connector has the setup to charge Apple devices and the other side is a MicroUSB connector.
All you have to do is plug in the cable into the device you want to charge with the correct side. The Kickstarter Project page states that the cable only supports charging and cannot transfer data from, a computer, for example.
That is not even an issue, in my opinion. I mean, who data transfer don epp? Anyway, the creators of the cable have gone to Kickstarter seeking for just $3, 582, although as at the time of the post, it has already collected about $31,000. I guess the world really does need this cable.
Shipping is said to start in a few months, but as with most Kickstarter campaigns, we can't really say if the creators will stick to that timeline. Also, there is no information on which parts of the world the cable will be available in, so pledge your money wisely!
