The company recently announced the roll out of three new phones for the Nigerian market.

Lenovo, a leading name in the mobile phone industry has gradually gained entrance in to the Nigerian market, pitching itself, as a viable competitor to the other established brands.

Tech observers say the new mobile phones-Lenovo P70, S90 and S60 are all powered by the Android 4.4 Kitkat operating system.

In a chat with tech reporters, Shashank Sharma, the Executive Director of Mobile Business Group at Lenovo, Middle East and Africa,said: “In the past one year, Lenovo have made strong progress with its Nigerian consumers. We consider the region as a principal destination for investment, even as we continue to record robust growth in sales. Sustaining a solid in-country presence is very important to us from both social and economic standpoints. We will continue to expand our business and invest heavily in this market.”
