Say bye bye to sharing your account with other people
This option has been suspended since April 3, 2017, according to the streaming company.
Remember when you could just make one subscription on iROKOtv and every other person could use your login details to watch movies anywhere and anytime?
Well, that is no longer possible.
Co-Founder of iROKOtv, Jason Njoku tweeted this;
So now, you'll not be able to stream simultaneously on two screens. One screen at a time.
Ha. iROKOtv and the Rise Of Sibling Rivalry.
So imagine brother and sister want to watch two different movies at the same time. They start fighting over who gets to watch what. Then they start swearing at each other's parents. Yes we're thinking the same thing. They have the same parents.
So is there a possibility that iROKOtv might roll out a family plan soon? Hopefully. Netflix has one. Apple Music too. Add Spotify to that list.
Netflix's family plan can cater for four screens simultaneously, for example. Maybe iROKOtv might roll out something like this in the future.
But for now, we'd have to sign peace treaties with our family and friends, and draw out rosters to watch our movies, one movie interest at a time.
