With different motifs for buying these phones, A lot of people are simply waiting for the release of the iPhone X.

Apple loyalists numbering roughly 50 were seen queueing all the way in Sydney, waiting to get their hands on the device. A customer named Mazen Kourouche was said to have waited for10 days in front of the Apple store just to be crowned the ‘’honorary’’ first buyer of the iPhone 8 Plus. Kourouche noted he will be giving the phone to a family member while he awaits the iPhone X.

Some of the buyers were YouTubers who were planning to create an unboxing video for their subscribers and amass good traffic.

"I love the glass finish on the 8," Kourouche, a 20-year-old Sydney student, said while comparing the new device to the earlier 4 model that had a similar exterior. "I appreciate this new glass finish" more than the finish on the recent line, he said.
