Samsung launches copycat versions of Apple's flagship smartphone

The new C-range will be available in two sizes - the C5 will have a 5.2-inch screen, while the C7 with have a 5.7-inch screen.

Samsung Galaxy C5 and C7 smartphones launched

Apple has sued Samsung several times for allegedly ripping off of its designs, but that does not seem to have deterred the Korean tech giant as it has launched two new smartphones that look exactly like an Apple iPhone 6s.

Samsung launched the two phones, which will be exclusive to China, on Thursday and it is called them the Samsung Galaxy C5 and C7.

The new C-range will be available in two sizes - the C5 will have a 5.2-inch screen, while the C7 with have a 5.7-inch screen.

Both devices will have a Super AMOLED full HD display, a metal unibody, 4GB of RAM, 32/64GB or internal storage (expandable up to 128GB with MicroSD support), fingerprint sensor, 16MP(rear) and 8MP (front-facing) f/1.9 cameras.

On the inside, the larger C7 will carry a 2.0GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 chipset with Adreno 506 GPU, while the smaller C5 will have a 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 617 chipset with Adreno 405 GPU.

Both devices will be available in Pink Gold, Gold, Gray, and Silver colors, and they will also come pre-installed with Android 6.0.1Marshmallow.

Both devices where announced on Samsung's Chinese website.
