Reports have surfaced that hackers sympathetic to the cause of Shiite Muslims in Nigeria have hacked the website of the Lagos State Government.

When Pulse Tech went to the website to confirm the reports, the website only had a blue gradient page with a message from the hackers blaming the Nigerian Government and some western countries for the spread of terrorism across the world.

The message further goes on to call the Nigerian Army and politicians ‘murderers’, holding the aforementioned entities responsible for the killings of thousands of Muslims all over the world.

On further investigation, it seems the hack took place in the early hours of Friday, although the Lagos State Government is yet to give an official statement on the hack.
