Tech firm, Slot reward buyers with prizes, movie date with D’banj

As part of its 'Share A Date' Campaign which ran from April 1, 2016 to June 20, 2016, Huawei; and mobile device retailer Slot Limited collaborated to reward customers who purchased the Huawei G.Power mobile phone with a special treat.

The 50 customers were chosen from a pool of 500 people who entered the competition. The winners received two tickets each to watch a movie at the Silverbird Cinemas in Ikeja.

D’banj who is a brand ambassador for Slot not only attended the movie night with the Huawei patrons, but also announced the names of five winners who won prizes from a raffle draw held at the event.

Two customers won the Huawei flagship smartphones, Huawei Mate 8 and Huawei G. Power while the other thee won Huawei power banks.

Speaking on the Share A Date campaign, Managing Director, Devices, Huawei Nigeria; Leo Jianghui said:

“Huawei is a customer-focused company that seeks to continuously delight its customers with quality products, and unmatched experiences. We encourage our customers to dream the impossible and make it possible, and with this campaign we have made some of their dreams possible by organizing a movie date with one of their favorite stars, D.banj”.

He further noted: “Huawei is a very fashion centric brand and this is evidenced in the style and sleekness of our devices. Dbanj is a fashion icon and that’s why we chose him as the celebrity date for this campaign. Our customers loved it so we are very pleased with the outcome of the event and the campaign”.

On partnering with Slot on the campaign, Jianghui said: “Slot is one of our most respected retailers who share our vision of providing products and services that suit our customers’ lifestyles, ensuring value for money, and satisfaction with our products. They also helped us bring D,banj on board for the campaign”.

On his part, music superstar, Dbanj stated proudly: “My fans are the reason why I am here, so any time I can bond with the fans its always a great time for me”.

The Huawei G. Power device is one of the stylish phones from Huawei’s well received G-series line of mobile devices. The device launched in Nigeria earlier this year and was well received for it’s ability to charge a mobile device in 10 minutes.
