Because this technology is so awesome (and is totally fun), here are five things you didn’t know you could do with Google Maps.

Google Maps is part of Google's core business and by 2016, had more than 1 billion monthly users.

Here in Nigeria, we use Maps for different reasons: When we are going out of state to a place we have never been, Uber/Taxify/Ogataxi drivers need it to effectively offer their services (never mind that they never use it), when we need to look up places or points of interest in places we have not been to before and so on.

Because this technology is so awesome (and is totally fun), here are five things you didn’t know you could do with Google Maps:
