Popular Canadian politician Norm Kelly also tweeted a screenshot of his direct messages showing several people seemingly looking for help with emigration to Canada.

It is unclear if that is the sole reason for the Canadian immigration site going bust, but that seems to be the leading theory as at press time.

Republican candidate Donald Trump has since shot to the top of the search trends on Google and Twitter respectively after being officially confirmed as the next president of the United States.
