This leak shows what the back of the iPhone 7 may look like

At first glance, it doesn't really look very different from the iPhone 6s.

Apple CEO Tim Cook introduces Apple Watch on Sept. 9, 2014, in Cupertino, California.

As is the tradition when a new phone is being anticipated, new images of what is believed to be the rear case design of an iPhone 7 has leaked, suggesting a significantly larger cut-out for the camera sensor as well as redesigned antenna brands.

At first glance, it doesn't really look very different from the iPhone 6s. It maintains the same flat aluminum unibody with rounded edges from its predecessor and the rear-facing iSight camera also seems to be sitting in the same place, although the sensor cutout looks larger.

Popular leak site, Nowhereelse.fr, published a leaked image which shows a redesigned rear case which looks like the antenna band that crosses the top and bottom of the iPhone 6/6S models is missing.

If you look closely though, you will see what looks like antenna bands running along the top and bottom edges of the case.

This second leak also seems to support the rumors which have been making the rounds that the upcoming iPhone 7 will not have an headphone jack.

The larger camera hole, on the other hand, seems to suggest a significant upgrade to the current 12MP shooter which the current iPhone 6S carries.

Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 7 lineup later in September this year like the company traditionally does, but a new 4-inch iPhone SE and iPad Air 3 is expected to be launched at its March 21 event.
