Telecommunications company, Airtel Nigeria has announced the launch of a social networking platform named MatchUp.
Telecoms operator launches matchmaking service
MatchUp, which the company say is Africa’s number 1 matchmaking service, is aimed at helping people who are looking to connect and features rooms where users can meet to discuss diverse issues.
According to a report by Techloy, Airtel says “The service is a medium for Airtel customers to connect with each other for various reasons including friendship, dating and business relationships among others”.

MatchUp was one of the startups that won N1 million at the Airtel’s catapult-a-startup competition earlier this year.
