Bukky George talks about winning the W Entrepreneur Award

The W Awards was held in Lagos as part of the agenda for the 2015 Access Conference.

On December 10 2015, the CEO of Health Plus Limited Olubukunola Adewunmi George popularly known as Bukky George was named as the winner of Access Bank’s W Entrepreneur Award.

In the last six years, HealthPlus has grown from being a neighbourhood pharmacy to a pharmacy chain with over 60 stores across Nigeria. Pulse Nigeria spoke to the health care provider about being honoured at The W Awards.

“I’m excited because I know there are many women in Nigeria doing phenomenal work”, George said.

“I’m especially excited because this is health care being recognized and we are not glamorous, we often get unnoticed because what we do is considered as charity, it’s assumed it’ll be there”.
