The tech giant announced recently that it will be coming out with a customised and affordable version of the Surface 3 tablet for students and schools.
Microsoft says it will not announce the price for the customised tablets yet, but it is sure to give out a discount of 10%, in addition to its subsidised price.
The customised tablets will only be made available to educational institutions.
Industry experts say this is part of Microsoft’s strategy of selling the surface 3 tab as a better alternative to using paper. A Surface Pen for digital inking and drawing will also be included in the subsidised version of the Surface 3 tablet.
