The Board of Directors of Seven-Up Bottling Company has announced some changes in the firm’s leadership.

The board made the announcement via a statement released on Tuesday, March 21.

According to the statement, Managing Director, Sunil Sawhney has been promoted to the position of Vice Chairman with effect from April 1, 2017.

Sawhney has worked at the company for 16 years and served as MD for eight years.

The statement explained that Ziad Maalouf would succeed Sawhney as the managing director of the company.

“Maalouf joined SBC nine years ago as National Sales and Distribution Manager, and was later promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer. Maalouf has over 20 years’ work experience in various reputable organizations,” the statement said.

It added that Maalouf holds a Business degree and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut and has attended numerous business and leadership executive education programmes at leading international institutions including the Harvard Business School.
