In fact, it has become something to be feared.

Luckily, it does not have to be an extremely terrible daily experience.

Buy music albums- Traffic in Lagos gives you the opportunity, that you would not have otherwise, to buy music albums. In fact, Dj Xclusive has admitted that his "ACCORDING TO X" album has sold out nationwide, most especially in traffic." So, take advantage of the traffic to catch up on your music.

Sleep- Traffic is the perfect time to sleep. Just make sure your sleep is not too deep, otherwise you will pass your bus stop.

Eat- If you are an early commuter, chances are that you leave your house without eating. Lagos traffic comes in handy because you have a lot of choices to choose from. You can have snacks or fruits. You can also buy things to cook at home like ripe/unripe Plantain, Irish potatoes, fish and so on.

Pray- Lagosians are always in a hurry to get to work, get home, market e.t.c. Traffic gives you the much needed opportunity to clear your mind and communicate with God. You can also brainstorm and map out your daily plan/schedule.

Call/text- We live in a fast pace world where we usually put all our focus on our goals and making money. Therefore, we often forget to call our loved ones. Take advantage of the traffic to call/text and catch up with loved ones.

The truth is that you are likely to spend a quarter of your life in traffic, so, you might as well learn to enjoy it.
