Former President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki says President Muhammadu Buhari has failed to live up to his responsibilities as the leader of the country.
'You failed to make Nigerians happy', Saraki tackles Buhari
Saraki says Nigerians can no longer travel to a closer town without being in fear.
Saraki said the security situation in the country has worsened to the point that Nigerians can no longer travel to a closer town without being in fear.
The former Senate President said this when his Presidential Campaign team visited Kano on Thursday, March 3, 2022.
Saraki who was represented by the Campaign Director, Bukola Saraki Presidential Campaign Directorate, Prof. Iyorwuese Hagber said Buhari promised to provide Nigerians power but the country is now worse off in energy supply.
He said, “President Buhari said he will provide effective security of lives and properties, today, Nigerians cannot even travel to a closer town without being in fear and uncertain of what will happen to them.
“Bukola Saraki would certainly take over the government, organize massive reforms, restructure the mentality of Nigerians, bring back justice because justice has been compromised by the APC regime, which does not respect separation of powers.
“The judiciary and the legislative arms have all come under the control of the executive.
“Today, Nigeria is greatly divided along tribe and religion, that is why something urgently must be done to salvage it.
“Nigeria is the poorest nation on earth today. They have failed to make Nigerians happy, we are sad and disgusted. Bukola Saraki who is not corrupt would do the magic and wipe out our tears of Nigerians come 2023.”
In January, Saraki declared his intention to run for president on the ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party.
The former governor of Kwara State while announcing his interest in the 2023 presidential race in a statement on his Facebook page said he has a “strong record of delivering and experience in making tough decisions.”
