Speaker faults politicians already eyeing 2019

He stressed that the preoccupation of the lawmakers and the party members should be the wellbeing of the country.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara has faulted politicians already positioning for the 2019 political dispensation, stating they should rather cooperate with the Buhari administration to move the country forward.

He stated this on Wednesday, June 17 in Abuja, when the Presidential Primaries Convention Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), visited him.

"We have to rally round with all the tools we can get, to make this government a success.

"We cannot fail our people and that is why I fault those who are already having their eyes on 2019’’, Dogara said.
