Gov. gives stewardship, berates opposition

Wike said that he was able to pay salaries to civil servants, and pensions to footballers, without receiving any bail-out.

 

The Governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike, gave stewardship of his 100 days in office to citizens of the state in a televised broadcast.

During his state wide broadcast, the Governor berated the opposition for trying to downplay his achievements, and deliberately refusing to accept that Rotimi Amaechi did great damage to the state's finances.

He also hinted that the security of the state will be beefed up, using armoured helicopters.

Adding that the abandoned law building in the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, has been renovated.

Gov, wike said his government will welcome any form of constructive criticism.
