The Federal Government recently slammed fresh forgery charges on the Senate President and his Deputy.
You will recall that Saraki and Ekweremadu were accused in 2015, of forging the Senate standing order to pave way for their emergence as Senate President and Deputy Senate President respectively.
The Senate has also issued a statement accusing the Federal Government of planning to set up the two officers for remand in Kuje prisons.
The Deputy Senate President has however said he was not involved in the alleged forgery of the Senate standing order.
