Police yet to receive arrest warrant

You will recall that Justice Danladi Umar, of the Code of Conduct Tribunal issued a warrant for the arrest of Senator Bukola Saraki on Friday.

 

More reports are unfolding, regarding the bench warrant issued for the Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki's  arrest by the Code of Conduct Tribunal.

The Police has said they have not received any bench warrant for the arrest of the Senate President, Bukola Saraki yet.

According to Vanguard Newspapers, the Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), ACP Adebisi  Kolawole said “The police are yet to receive the Code of Conduct Tribunal bench warrant ordering the Senate President’s arrest."

Vanguard also reports that the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr. Solomon Arase, said “I am yet to see one."
