INEC cancels election in Ogu/Bolo LG after thugs stole result sheets

Dakuku Peterside had also alarmed that some hoodlums hijacked electoral materials in Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area.

 

In the same vein, the Director General of Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASSA), Dr Dakuku Peterside had also raised an alarm that some hoodlums hijacked electoral materials in one ward in Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area of the state.

He, however, said the materials were later recovered by security personnel.

It was not clear which party the said thugs were working for.

Meanwhile, at about 12.04pm, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Rivers east senatorial district, Magnus Abe arrived the Community Secondary School, Beera, Gokana LGA to cast his vote.
