Opposition party charges new minister
The PDP on Wednesday urged the Ministers to stop being partisan and focus on working for the good of Nigerians.
President Muhammadu Buhari's 36 ministers weresworn-in on Wednesday November 11, 2015, at a ceremony which held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Reacting to the inauguration the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Chief Olisa Metuh, on Wednesday urged the Ministers to stop being partisan and focus on working for the good of Nigerians.
“These new ministers should note the challenges before them regarding the image of the country, which the APC government has changed," Metuh said in a written statement.
“The image it has changed from being the ‘Heart of Africa’ and a country of ‘Good people, Great nation’ to that of ‘Corrupt people, Broke nation’.
“Furthermore, we counsel the ministers, especially those who will be the face of the government, to note that the campaigns are over.
"Nigerians, therefore, will no longer condone propaganda, lies and deceits but expect a responsible dissemination based on truth, honesty and openness.”
