‘What did you forget in Aso Rock?’ First Lady asks Buhari

Mrs Jonathan asked the question to query Buhari’s decision to run for the Presidency despite his previous time in office as Head of State.

First Lady, Patience Jonathan and APC Presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari.

Nigeria’s First Lady, Patience Jonathan has urged the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari to tell Nigerians what he forgot in Aso Rock that he wants to go back for.

The First Lady stated this on Monday, March 23, during a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) campaign rally in Enugu State.

“The change that is APC’s mantra is for bus conductors and drivers. That is why they keep changing their name each time they fail elections. This time in 2015, they will change their name from APC to Ebola because they are dead,” Mrs Jonathan said.

“Buhari who is as old as Jonathan’s father should tell us what he forgot in Aso-Rock.  During Buhari’s era, he said women should be confined in the kitchen. But under Jonathan’s administration, women has been liberated to contribute to national development,” she added.

“Buhari abolished the office of first lady during his time. You should not allow our people to go back to the analogue age. We are in a digital era. Buhari is too old. He should allow the youths to lead,” Mrs Jonathan said.

Mrs Jonathan had earlier described Buhari as brain dead and urged her supporters to stone members of the APC.
