First Lady, Patience Jonathan and the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari are both expected to be in Onitsha, Anambra State today, March 23.

Buhari is expected to meet with the organized private sector at Sharon Hotel while the First Lady will have a meeting at the Holy Trinity Catholic Cathedral, Daily Post reports.

The development is said to be causing concern in the APC camp as it’s being seen as a deliberate attempt by Mrs. Jonathan to disrupt Buhari’s event.

“For me it is dangerous when you take a cursory look at her desperation and do-or-die tactics. Mrs President rates the contest as a do-or-die affair and is scared that they will go to jail if Buhari comes to power,” APC spokesperson for the South-East, Osita Okechukwu said.

Mrs Jonathan earlier had a similar clash with the APC candidate’s wife, Aisha Buhari in Edo State which led to Mrs Buhari changing the date for her own event.

The First Lady has continuously attacked Buhari describing him as brain-dead and urging him to leave governance to the younger generation.
