Anambra Election Party agents reportedly bribe voters with N1000

The voters were reportedly approached by party agents with N1,000 and a pair of rubber slippers to vote for their party.

Voters in some polling units in Anambra have been lured by some party agents with cash gifts.

According to a report by Punch, the party agents, who are believed to belong to one of the major political parties in the ongoing election, were secretly canvassing for votes by distributing various gift items to the voters.

It was further reported that in some polling units in Njikoka LGA, party agents and supporters were seen distributing cash and pairs of slippers to voters after ensuring that beneficiaries voted for their party.

The voters were reportedly approached by party agents with N1,000 and a pair of rubber slippers to vote for their party.

Money was also distributed to voters at three polling units in Ukpo, Dunukofia LGA.

Snacks were also given to some voters in some other polling units.
