Buhari, others campaign for APC on Thursday

The Publicity Secretary of the party announced this in a statement made available to newsmen in Akure on Wednesday.

President Buhari with Governor of Edo State Adams Oshiomole as he Commissions Samuel Ogbemudia College as part of his visit to Edo State for the Commissioning of Infrastructural Projects in Benin City.

The Publicity Secretary of the party, Prince Abayomi Adesanya, announced this in a statement made available to newsmen in Akure on Wednesday.

“We heartily welcome the President Muhammadu Buhari and his vice, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.

“Along with them are: National Chairman of the party, Chief John Oyegun; National Leader of the Party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; the Senate President, Bukola Saraki; the Speaker House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara to Ondo State.

“The party also welcomes the Executive Gov. of Imo State and Chairman of APC Governors’ Forum, His Excellency, Owelle Rochas Okorocha; Gov. Solomon Lalong of Pleateu State and Chairman National Campaign Committee, Ondo 2016.

“All APC governors, National Assembly members; members of APC National Working Committee, APC Leaders, and other dignitaries, will be present,’’ he stated.

Adesanya said the President’s visit is not only for campaign for the victory of his party’s candidate but because of his love for the people of the state.

The spokesman added that the state was strategically positioned and endowed with great potential of both human and natural resources for economic diversification.

He therefore urged the good people of the state, party members, to troop out en masse to welcome the President and his team to the state.
