Ex-President disobeys court order, launches book

An Abuja court on Friday, December 6, ordered the ex-President to refrain from publishing the book until the determination of a libel suit which was brought against him by Ogun State Peoples Democratic Party chieftain, Buruji Kashamu.

Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo has ignored a court order and gone ahead with the official launch of his autobiography titled “My Watch.”

An Abuja court on Friday, December 6, ordered the ex-President to refrain from publishing the book until the determination of a libel suit which was brought against him by Ogun State Peoples Democratic Party chieftain, Buruji Kashamu.

However, the launch of Obasanjo’s autobiography is currently ongoing at the Lagos Country Club in Ikeja, according to Sahara Reporters.

The book is said to contain severe criticisms against President Goodluck Jonathan but Obasanjo has reportedly said that everything that is contained in his autobiography is already known to the public.
