‘Nobody born of a woman from Nnewi can suspend me,’ PDP spokesperson says

The Anambra PDP announced via a statement that Metuh had been suspended following allegations of embezzlement levelled against him.

PDP National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh

The National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olisa Metuh has denied reports that he was suspended by his ward in the Nnewi area of Anambra State.

The PDP spokesperson however said, while speaking to online news platform, The Cable, that ‘nobody born of a woman from Nnewi’ can suspend him.

Metuh said:

“There is nobody born of a woman from Nnewi that can sign such a statement (notification of suspension).”

“I have no problem in the PDP or in Anambra state‎. I can assure you that nobody from Nnewi can suspend me. I am a national officer.”

The statement announcing Metuh’s suspension was supposedly signed by Anambra PDP Publicity Secretary, Kenneth Arinze, Victor Osy Ezenwa, Basil Ejidike (Secretary), Dr. Maduka Nwankwo (Chairman, South), Kelue Molokwu (Vice Chairman, Central) and Chief Osy Chinwuba (Chairman, North).
