An agent of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Tuesday, March 31, disrupted the ongoing announcement of election results in Abuja.

Former Minister of Niger Delta, Godsday Orubebe, interrupted the proceedings and accused the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Attahiru Jega of being selective and partial.

Orubebe also said that Jega had addressed the All Progressives Congress (APC) petition on results in Rivers State but refused to respond to the PDP petition concerning results in seven states.

“We’ve complained about Kaduna, we’ve complained about Jigawa, you have not done anything,” Orubebe said.

“We’re not going to take that… because you’re partial, you’re selective Mr Chairman. We don’t believe in you anymore and we cannot go on the way you’re going,” he added.

Orubebe sat on the stage and refused to release the microphone until he had said his piece.

Orubebe's Wikipedia page was immediately updated to read as a 'toutish man who disrupted the hearings, accusing INEC Chairman Jega of tribalism and partiality in the election process' and further as 'a disgrace to his children'. It has however been updated and re-edited.
