As voting rounds up in many parts of the country and results from polling units are unofficially trickling in, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has recorded success at the Gerard/Alexander Ikoyi polling unit of the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro.

Obanikoro delivered his unit, PU013, for his party - PDP. The party’s governorship candidate in Lagos State, Jimi Agbaje, recorded 50 votes while the All Progressives Congress’ (APC) aspirant, Akinwunmi Ambode, scored 48 votes.

In the State House of Assembly polls, PDP got 63 votes while APC polled 33 votes.

Meanwhile, Musiliu Obanikoro's son, Ibrahim Obanikoro, had been reportedly arrested for allegedly distributing money at the polling unit earlier today, April 11.
