US War College confirms Presidential aspirant’s graduation

The school’s Public Affairs Officer, Carol Kerr confirmed on Thursday, January 8, that Buhari had been awarded a diploma ( a certificate) from the college.

A resolution seems to have come to the missing certificate saga of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari as the United States Army War College has confirmed that he indeed graduated from the institution in 1980.

The school’s Public Affairs Officer, Carol Kerr confirmed on Thursday, January 8, that Buhari had been awarded a diploma (a certificate) from the college.

The information was sent via email in response to an enquiry made by US-based Nigerian, Sunday Iwalaiye.

Controversy arose over Buhari’s academic credentials after he was described as “semi-illiterate” by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and failed to present his certificates to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) saying they were in the possession of the military board.
