President-elect receives certificate of return from INEC

Buhari and Vice-President elect, Yemi Osinbajo, received the certificates from INEC Chairman, Attahiru Jega on Wednesday, April 1.

Nigeria’s President elect, Muhammadu Buhari has been presented with a Certificate of Return by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Buhari and Vice-President elect, Yemi Osinbajo, received the certificates from INEC Chairman, Attahiru Jega on Wednesday, April 1.

After receiving the certificate, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential candidate said that “change has finally come” to Nigeria and that the country’s “long night has passed”.

Buhari defeated incumbent, President Goodluck Jonathan by over 2 million votes to emerge President-elect.
